Access Controls

Effective October 15, 2026 · Romex technician app

This page describes the current private employee-app policy.

Technicians

Technician accounts require a unique active FieldRoutes technician link. Normal technicians can access their own private KPI details and public-safe shared program records, subject to service-manager visibility restrictions. Customer PII and raw payment facts are excluded from technician responses.

Service-manager KPI visibility

An administrator may map a FieldRoutes access profile to read-only, company-wide KPI visibility. This permits KPI viewing for technicians and peer service managers but does not grant branch administration, goal editing, settings, moderation, competition authoring, or role changes. Unmapped profiles fail closed, and filters never expand access.

Managers and administrators

App managers receive documented office scopes. Branch leadership labels do not grant application access. Managers may edit branch monthly goals only when every office mapped to the branch is in their assigned scope. Historical organizational divisions are dormant, not reporting filters. Administrators control account approval, matching, promotion, roles, offboarding, and audits. A verified manager or administrator may remain unlinked only after administrator approval; technicians may not. Technician reporting remains employee-attributed, so unlinked staff accounts cannot access technician KPI details.

Lifecycle and review

FieldRoutes active-to-inactive transitions disable the specifically matched technician account and revoke sessions. Reactivation requires administrator review. Roles, scopes, unmatched identities, access-profile mappings, privileged actions, and stale access are reviewed on the schedule approved by the Romex product and security owners.
